Multivitamins

Hello ladies, Can anyone recommend multivitamins that’s not a liquid form! I haven’t honestly tried 5+ liquid forms and my little boy just refuses every single one because they taste and smell horrible! I’ve tried looking at the gummy ones but most of them are 3+ anyone found some that a 2 year old can take! Really need to get these into him he started nursery in September and he’s had 6 days of already because of illness he is literally ill every week!!!😣

I’ve always given mine the Wellbaby multivitamin liquid and it’s only ever gone in his morning milk or you could mix up in breakfast etc. but I haven’t seen any gummies unfortunately!

We used to use Natures Aid Multivitamins and although this helps support their immune system, it wouldn’t stop them from getting ill. The first 6 months of nursery were hell - he kept getting ill and it was relentless and exhausting but they need to catch these bugs to build their immune system. The reality is, you just need to let it happen but it does get better.

I spoke to a medical professional who said the 3+ is not actually based on their age but it’s because they legally have to advertise as 3+ for choking hazard. If you feel your little one is confident eating a gummy you should be ok. I personally don’t like gummies because of the sugar and I am looking for a vitamin in the form of a few drops in the mouth without having to mix it in food etc

My boy was the same with liquid ones but he still has a milk morning and night. I put 2.5ml in each bottle and he can’t taste it 👍🏻 he’s still getting his 5ml just spread out. I’d try splitting the dose across the day in their fave drink x

The liquid vitimins make my boy gag and sometimes vomit from it. The gummy ones have sugars in which isn’t ideal but as another said I think it’s based more on ability to chew and swallow the gummies

on Amazon called Physis gummies are for 2yr + x

Thanks for all the advise ladies I no it won’t stop him from getting ill but hopefully help him just a little as the poor bugger is getting ill every week🤦🏽‍♀️

@Georgia that’ll normally happen for like a year of starting nursery or school. Then will calm down. It’s a load of new germs there bodies aren’t used too

Our HV said as long as you're confident they can eat the 3+ gummy sensible then there no other reason so we've been having the dummies for past 6 months

Yeah my little one started nursery when he was 9 months and was unwell most of the first year 🙈 I kept him on formula for his milk for a while as I knew it had vitamins in to help a bit x
