Bleeding

hi, i’m about 4/5weeks pregnant. and i started spotting since the day i found out i was pregnant. i tested on saturday and had a positive, that afternoon i started spotting dark brown. that lasted till monday, so that was 3 days of dark brown spotting. from tuesday till now i have been bleeding, its more bright red then pink and dark brown too odd times. not heavy, enough to fill a pantyliner every 4 hours. no clots. no cramps. although i did start off with a heavy cramp on tuesday and then stopped after 3 hours and didn’t have it again. i had a blood test done on tuesday to confirm pregnancy and to test for my beta hCG and progesterone. they confirmed pregnancy, i was 164 for hCG and my progesterone was 72. i have another blood test today, to see if the numbers have doubled. other then that i don’t know if this is MC or ectopic or if it’s working. any advise would be great - thank you

This is my first pregnancy. So I may not have much advice but the hospital nurse said to call A and E if it’s filling three or more pads and heavy bleeding. Much luck to you.

hi when i was 7 weeks i had bleeding after spotting, i went in and they scanned me and told me i had a bruise! but if your unsure/ worried go to hospital ask for a scan and explain that your loosing sleep not knowing!! i hope everything is okay xxx

@Elle , thank you, they said because I’m at five weeks that it won’t pick up on a scan, but I might try to ask for a blood test

@Chloe at 7 weeks i had the scan internally so it goes up you rather then on your belly! but if your unsure private scans will be available from 6 weeks i think! xx

thanks for that elle, kind of gave me some relief. i’ve got a scan booked in for my 7th week. and my bleeding today seems less. so fingers crossed it’s all good news

It can be implantation bleeding look it up Mrs I had a bit in my 2nd pregnancy but was more like pink discharge but some people do have bleeding xx
