Advice please

How is everyone teaching right from wrong? My daughter is 20 months. Temper tantrums in full swing but how are we supposed to teach right from wrong? Like hitting when we say no, head butting, even just saying no when they try to open cupboard etc

I am going through same thing if I say no he just laughs at me and keeps doing. Decided not to use word no and divert attention onto something else for him. It's hard as so young and they don't understand they are just testing the water and exploring. I know it's tough but we just go to get through it.

We are on the same boat. I’ve tried either divert her attention or just ignore it (even though it’s so hard!). My LO will literally put on a smirky face and say “no no no no” while waving her finger around, then do the same thing again 🤦‍♀️

Its a phase. My baby turned 20 months today and she's been so different the whole week and I was starting to get scared as I was like that's not her until I saw one of her molars popping out and has red gum. They might be teething or starting the terrible 2 phase which makes them behave terribly bad. I just find things she likes and we concentrate on doing those ones more during this phase thus keeps her happy for a while. Goodluck everyone ❤️

Thank you ladies! It’s so hard to know what’s right to do, 5 minutes after I posted this- I had to say no to something she wanted so she had a temper tantrum, hit her mouth of the window sill and cut her lip open🫣 poor girl, she’s okay now but after lots of blood, tears and cuddles. It’s just crazy, how else do we expect these little humans to communicate with us at such a young age🥹 terrible 2’s are here early I think and I’ve got baby no2 due in a matter of weeks ahah! Pray for me
