Accept in my opinion. They're in totally different stages of life. I have a 10 year old step daughter and 12 week old with my husband and I'd never think he'd have to do the same for both at the same time, there will be times when your child needs more probably they already have with cot, pram, clothes etc... baby won't remember Christmas for a long time yet
I agree with the comments above. For a 12yo, £200 is easily spent.
Thanks all 😊
I’d imagine the budget for your lo will increase as she gets older and gets hold of the smyths catalogue! Unfortunately that’s not a huge amount in this day and age. Plus by the time she’s 12 his budget will look very different.
Everything doesn't have to he equal when it comes to babies, they don't know what's going on! Ill be spending way more on my older kids than my baby!
If 200 is around the normal amount he spends on them at Christmas I don't see the problem, n as kids get older they need/want more expensive stuff n with preteen/teen age u can buy them 3 things n it ends up being £200. Babies don't really need or want much so spending £200 on baby toys is so unnecessary. But at 12 years old £200 could literally be some clothes n like 2 console games. If it bugs u mention it but unless it's having a financial impact on u personally or ur family I don't see the problem in him buying his other child expensive stuff if he wants to. If ur kids were similar ages n he spent 200 on one n 50 on other then that'd be a problem x
