you’re not doing anything wrong, you’re doing right by your little one, every baby is different sizes and there is nothing wrong with that! my little boy is in size 5 and has been for a couple of weeks now! he’s a big baby also! he’s happy and comfortable so i’m happy! some people just like saying things to bring others down, but you know what is best for your baby!xx
Also in size 4s at 7 months old here. Absolutely nothing wrong with choosing a bigger nappy, they're there to absorb stuff and keep your baby dry so why on earth anyone would have an issue with going up a size, blows my mind 😆 you said it yourself, you are smashing it and whether big or small, baby is happy and healthy! Someone once told me it's only the good mothers who worry if they're making the best decisions. The bad ones don't worry! X
My baby is also in size 4 and I’m debating whether to move him up to size 5 - he still has plenty of room in the 4s but I think the 5s would be better through the night so he doesn’t leak etc. He’s only 7 months next week. You know what works best for you and your baby!
My little girl has been in size 4 nappies since she was about 4 months old. She went from 0-100 very quickly and then kind of balanced out after that. I think we will be moving to size 5 soon, probably by the time we use all the size 4 we have. I see a lot of posts like this and it bothers me that there are mums out there that have this one size fits all mentality for babies, they're just tiny people, there's not a template for them.
We got lots of leaks in 4 so moved into a 5! Don’t worry, so weird of whoever shamed you!
Sod her! Who cares what size your babies nappy is. Why pass comment 🙄
My baby is 6m and in size 5. It's just his body shape! He's already in 12-18m clothes. My life is made easier as he's in same size as my toddler who wears nappies overnight x
That Mother who shamed you shouldnt be blessed to be a Mum and I wish I could have some words with her!!! My Baby is 7 months in 3 days and he started wearing size 5 nappies some weeks back. Bigger percentile babies require larger nappies just like they require larger clothes this isnt a problem and society shouldn't tag it one! As long as baby is healthy...
My baby has been in size 5+ Aldi nappies since 5 months. Every brand is a bit different and every baby is different. I get quite a few comments from different people about the size of my baby as he is 99th perscentile. Sometimes it really gets to me as I'm trying to do my best as a FTM and it almost makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong. I think people, if they have nothing good to say, should keep their comments to themselves.
Born 18th April we’ve been on size 5 for a few weeks What a bizarre this for her to say. The entire nation are all shapes and sizes. My eldest is a good size not chubby but solid. Just like his dad. It’d be weird to all be the same! I’m sure you’re doing a great job!
My son is in size 5 nappies and he’s nearly 7 months, I know he is big for his age but I couldn’t care less what other people think about that as long as he’s happy and healthy. Sometimes I feel like as a mum you can’t do anything without somebody having something to say about it, even the size of a baby’s nappy apparently 😅 I would try let it go in one ear out the other
I didn’t even realise this was something to worry about, my boy is a big lad and quite tall / long with really chunky legs. He’s in 6+ Asda nappies! We had to keep moving up a size as they were just leaking constantly. He’s not anywhere near the weight they recommend on the pack of nappies but they fit him well and we’re not getting as many blow out / leaks! Honestly, screw anyone trying to shame you for making your baby comfortable. I cannot fathom why another mother would feel the need to shame another on something so menial. You’re doing great ❤️
Size 5 at 6 months here! My three year old can use them if needed! Both boys, same parents, both EBF. Eldest 25th centile for weight, youngest is 98th. Nothing you can do about it.
My girl was in size 4 honestly since about 3 months old, she's been in size 4+ for the last month, just ignore her! Last weighed my girl about a month ago and she's 21lbs, don't get why people weight shame babies they are all so different

@Natasha my little boy was born 17th April 🙌🏻 And thankyou ❤️
So I brought the size 5's today and now I realise I should of done this ages ago! I just want to thankyou for all your kind words! I've actually sent the mum who shamed me a rather lengthy message just making sure she knows her place when not thinking when she speaks 🫣💁🏼♀️
The nappy sizes have always puzzled me, I've never found the weight ranges accurate. Just use whatever size fits and don't worry about it, different brands all fit differently anyway and some babies are taller / shorter / wider / narrower etc. so what works for someone might not work for someone else. For reference my 7 month old is in size 4 but nearly in a 5 and my 3yr old still wears a size 6! 🤣
My toddler is 2.5 and she has a size 6 pull up at night. My 7m old is in size 5 nappies and she has been for a few weeks now. I’ve never given it a second thought until now 😂 but I absolutely would’ve done if someone had said it to me as a ftm. ‘I’m a first time mum and doing an amazing job’ you’ve said it yourself 👏 your baby is perfect 🫶🏼
My little boy is just over 7 months old and in size 4 too, he has been for a while now x
My boy is 7 months and in 5s during the day and 6s at night. My daughter was in 6s when we potty trained at 2.5 😂 all babies are different. My boy is 75 percentile for weight so is a chunky boy.
My baby boy is 6.5 months and has been in size 6 a few weeks now! X
My 7 month old is about to go into size 6 and is in 9-12 month clothes…. Tell her to mind her business
My son is 7 months and also in size 4 my first didn’t get to size 4/5 till he was one but both were/are happy and healthy every baby is different just ignore mums like that
