Question for parents who lives in a different state .
If you reach out to your child’s other parent about pickup and the other parent states the child will not be at the pickup location , so you can go ahead and waste your gas . Do you still drive to the pickup location ? The pickup location is in another state, 3 hours away .

Yes , you need to let the other parent know “ I will be at the designated pick up location at X time for pickup , if you do not show up I will assume you are willingly witholding my child and going against the court order.” And then don’t argue , and show up
@Megan I did this, the other parent didn’t respond to the text messages or showed up. The police tried calling and got no response .
