Hi I have had the dressing on three days, today all the lights have lit up online it says pump needs replacing, others saying that the whole dressing should come off, can anyone advise no answer form my doctor yet or the post natal ward 🫠🫠🫠

Hey 👋🏼 I’m a nurse who uses these dressings. Usually it flashes amber when it’s not working/lost suction. You could try replacing the batteries if you have some spare. Otherwise I would keep the dressing on and wait to speak to the ward/doctors in the morning and get it seen in person and replaced. The dressing will still be protecting the wound even if the suction has gone off so don’t remove it until you’ve got something to replace it with ☺️

This is so reassuring thank you! All the lights are on not flashing but on whereas a few hours ago the ok light was just flashing. I can’t get hold of anybody and had started to panic about it going dirty or infection if I leave it even a few hours but this makes me feel much better

I found mine was quite temperamental. I suggest unplugging it, smoothing out the edges of your dressing with your hands to remove any creases, then plugging it back in and making sure all the screwy bits are nice and tight. Press the OK button and it should hopefully whir a bit and eventually sort itself out.
