Baby girl is a spitfire! I wasn’t ready haha

She was born a month early and went from being a sleepy potato to terrorizing everything and everyone! Idk if this is normal? She is so different from her brother. I have her 1 year check up coming up to ask milestone questions and such but wow! Her brother was born with a shoulder injury + torticollis and only zombie lurched, started walking just after his 1st birthday but he also started talking super early — kid turned out to be super extroverted and chatty! In contrast, my baby girl knows words and uses them once in awhile but prefers to screech and omg she is soooo active! She literally will climb anything!! She figured out how to get through the baby gate so I bought a different brand (fingers crossed) and she is studying buckles ughh it’s all day climbing on and off the couch, pulling my hair, taking my glasses or drink or whatever. She has no chill! Very determined baby, lemme tell you. We are working on soft touches and pats, which she knows but sometimes she just wants to be naughty and laughs the whole time. I have to chase her for all her diaper changes and clothes — mama is exhausted! lol Luckily she is very playful and cuddly ❤️ What are you all doing with your super active babies to keep them out of trouble. Heeeeelp lol

I provide lots of permitted climbing time! We spend half our day climbing up and down the stairs, on and off the bed, etc. Mine isn't walking yet but she would climb Mt. Everest lol. Also lots of park visits or just playing in the grass on nice days

Glad I am not alone! 🥹 I did get one of those modular toddler couches to make obstacle courses in the living room & it’s been awesome. We spend a fair amount of time walking laps in the living room with her holding my finger. She takes some steps solo but crawling is still faster and she is quick!! I started taking her to grassy parks to get some energy out. I need to find a tot lot though because we run the risk of getting bulldozed by the bigger kids although they try their best to look out for her, it is what it is, you know? My son only ever played in the dirt when I took him to the playground lmao

Mine is about the same with the walking! She is obsessed with the big kids playing ball though. She always wants to get right in the middle of that. She was 6 weeks early. Something about these preemies, right?

Awww too cute! Are you able to redirect her or do the big kids just amuse her? lol my baby is sooo determined and stubborn it can be exhausting once she wants something! I try to distract her but it doesn’t usually work argh

Yeah, no, I drag her off the basketball court kicking and screaming lol. We cannot be in sight of them

Just wanted to say my little girl wore the SAME dress for her one year birthday! She’s also a hugeeeee climber

Awe!! It’s a perfect party dress 👗 I have it hanging in her room now kinda on display. Idk how long she will let me dress her up all frufru but I am enjoying it while I can. After 13 years of BOY I am embracing it haha

Aw so cute! It’s these gen alpha babies 😆 my son is the same! He took off his buckle once when we were driving. We had to stop the car and secure him. I sit in the backseat now 😩 currently pregnant with I think a girl ( I find out tomorrow 🥰) and I’m hoping this one is a lil calmer than brother 😂😂
