@Ana Moore at least I know I’m not crazy, I cry every other day I’m so overwhelmed and I yell like I’ve never yelled in my life. It’s turning me into someone I am not and idk what to do. I hate this.
Im sure many of us go through that 😩 I don’t mind they going all wild and messy but the whining makes me go nuts. Have you tried going outside or putting them in the bathtub to play with water whenever they acting like that? Usually it helps alot here
This is dangerous for your mental health. Can you have someone watch them for just an hour?
I have 2 kids similar ages and somehow 2 methods worked so far : first, I kept them apart and try to calm them down , usually my 2, 5 yo needs some time to calm himself and I just leave him but over watch him and I'm more with the little one as needs more cuddles at the time. And when they start to settle than I try something fun ( sometimes is enough pretend to dance to whatever music is on, to catch their attention and we go from there) The 2nd method is to take them both for cuddles on the sofa , this wasn't at first easy but calmed them down . I have recently noticed that my 2,5-year-old is bored with pretty much everything, so I digged some old toys and pretended I play with them , this absorb him for the rest of the day. Sometimes, you just need to let them cry for a moment , let them get bored, and then come with something simple to occupy them to change their mood direction. I know that's perhaps not the perfect advice, but see what brings results what's not , won't happen instantly
If it's affordable, book a babysitter (or ask a friend, I guarantee there are one or two just itching for baby play time!) for two or three hours. You don't have to leave the house, just have them watch the baby in the common rooms and you have a hot bath and a nap. You'll feel miles better for it.
God I think you are in the worst ages all together lol hopefully it gets better because I would lose my mind too 😭
