Hyper-mobility syndrome

Hiya, so I’ve got hypemobilty syndrome, luckily it’s not Ehlers-Danlos but I’m still in pain/ache every day and constantly tired. Obviously our babies are toddlers now and a lot more hard work! Just wondered if anyone else has it and how you manage the pain & tiredness? Also any signs that your LO have got any signs of having it too? TIA xx

Yeah I’ve got this too 😵‍💫 nothing but pain meds help me… or I usually tie up whatever part of my body hurts with some fabric. My LO isn’t showing strong signs yet but I do get concerned when he wakes up in the middle of the night complaining about leg pain 😭

I have hype-mobility, I’m in so much pain at the moment. My little boy is so active and it’s hard to keep up with him. Thankfully he doesn’t complain of any pains but it can be quite hard most days when I’m really stiff and in pain. Mostly my legs 😩. I try to do abit of walking each day and when I’m in a lot of pain just take some painkillers

@Maaham thank you, it’s so awful that we’re always in pain but reassuring in a way to know I’m not the only one. Glad your LO isn’t showing any signs, hope the leg pain is just growing pains 🤞

@Aneasa yeah I go through phases with it too, at the moment my back is super achy and my hips are clicking more than usual! Glad he’s not showing any signs, hopefully he won’t have it too. My LO clicks now and then and is white flexible, which I know is normal for their age but I don’t know how flexible is too flexible!
