Anyone still breastfeeding&cosleeping?

The past few weeks and especially the past few nights have been so hard😭 my lg sleeps with us and recently has been wanting to nurse, all. Night. Long. It’s driving me crazy&considering stopping breastfeeding but not sure where to start..

We’ve just gone through this phase too but it seems to have stopped for us now! The last couple months have been difficult with her not wanting to sleep as much, and i’ve had to push bedtime from 7-9pm so she doesn’t wake up at 5am but she’s been sleeping a lot better this last fortnight. I think they’re going through a developmental leap right now, so many new things every day and learning new skills it makes sense their sleep will be disrupted! I just make sure I leave my pjs unbuttoned so she doesn’t have to wake me as often🤣

I've just managed to stop and it's honestly feeling the best. I was reaching a point where I wanted too anyway. I used to offer snack/water/cuddles or a fun activity she likes such as playdough or swings and tell her the milk was finished. It didn't work all the time and involved a lot of tantrums but I tried to stick firm with it. Took about a month in total to completely wean off and it's felt amazing tbh xxx

Yes! Have managed to night wean we used the book booby moon for a few weeks and then when he asked for milk overnight I just said booby was asleep, first night he cried for 40 mins, second night 10 mins, and then didn’t cry after that. We still co sleep part of the night but he just cuddles in and goes back to sleep. Today is the first night we’re trying to get him to sleep without milk!!

We’re still co sleeping and breastfeeding and I think it just be a growth spurt as lately feeding even more at night. Hang in there xx

Us too. It’s very draining and makes me very touched out!

Yup me to, going through the same

Super hard here too. She wakes up loads and only wants the milk at night. Husband can’t help.
