Cervical stitch

Yes , my first born was a cerclage and it was removed at 37 weeks had my son at 38 weeks . It went well. I am pregnant with my second and have gotten a cerlage for the second time . The stitch is holding good and my cervix length has increased. But with the cerlage as usual it is the discomfort you feel as the baby grows . It hurts when in need to pee and all of that . But, I will say this is going to be successful too, approaching my 20th week . I had this done in October

How do you find out the size of your cervix ? I haven’t had that measured. Did you had like a symptom and went to an appointment ?

@Victoria I had abnormal cells on my cervix 10 years ago and they burned quite a bit of it away so I think that's why they checked my cervix, it may be a different reason for others though
