First time pumping help!

I’m going out for dinner tonight for the first time since giving birth, I’m planning on taking a bottle of breast milk. I’m going to express now at 3pm, dinner will be around 7.30. I’m planning on feeding LO before we go anyway but planning on keeping a bottle of milk jic he needs a feed whilst out. Can someone break down how I’m supposed to do this. I’ll express and keep the milk in the fridge for now? And then take it with us, is it okay to drink once it’s come down to room temp and how long do I have once it’s been out of the fridge? Is it easier to carry the milk in an insulted flask so it stays cold 😫 it’s really stressing me out as I don’t want to give baby milk that’s gone off.

4 hours at room temp. So I guess just make sure ur bag ain’t near a radiator or anything.

If you've taken it out the fridge yes I'd use within 4 hours max, if it's kept in like a cooler bag with ice packs you can use within 24 hours. I only tend to use expressed bottles at home to avoid the faff of taking it out with me and keeping it cool!

After being in the fridge, 2 hours. 4 hours fresh 3 days in fridge 6minths in freezer
