Am I being over sensitive?
I know this is silly, but I’m getting down about how many times people say my baby looks like my husband / his family (particularly my father in law) I feel so bad saying it because I love them all but it’s getting me a bit down, I think because I’m struggling too to see any of myself / my family in my baby. I’m really hoping he starts to change and resembles my side even just a bit! 🙈

I’m actually the opposite, everyone says my little boy looks just like me but I really want people to see some of my husband in him as I think he’s a mixture 😣😂
Aww, I am sure he will start to look like you too soon. I am not convinced I really see myself or my husband in my baby! She just looks like herself. 🤷♀️ My parents in law are convinced she looks like my husband! 😉
That’s okay, it’s nice for bubba to be a mini daddy because apart from them I’m sure daddy is your favourite person 💙
I never seen myself in my son at all, then I had his sister and they look so similar so they must take after me cus they have different dads, so even tho everyone is saying dad it might not be true!

Someone once told me that all babies look like their dads when they are born… and apparently that’s goes back to the cave man days to stop dads killing them 😂. Because they don’t get the instant bond with them the way women do by carrying them, that’s natures way of bringing them in as they can see themselves in the baby. I mean, who knows how true it is 😂😂. My babies have always looked like their dad when they were babies but my daughter looks more like me now.
