Do you let young children run inside the house?

I do my son is a high energy toddler . I just try to make sure that he doesn’t hurt his little sisters and that it’s in a certain area of the house. Also if it’s comfortable out in terms of weather , my preference is for him to run in the backyard

Yes let them run around indoors lol they kids let them be kids 🤣 I misread this I thought it said outside 🤣 Kids will fall it's inevitable you can't help it very much ,just make sure they can't run into anything dangerous yano .I love to chase my little one around.. safely

I put no and that rule got put into place bc of my youngest. He somehow ran inside (we were outside playing and I told him to go wash up) he ran through the kitchen and his tiny little self maybe 40ibs at the time somehow managed to knock over an almost 500ibs hutch. If my husband hadn’t have been standing there to take the brunt of it, it would’ve been catastrophic. Instead, my husband had pulled back muscles, a few cuts from glass, and we had to remove the hutch and clean up the glass.

I do, within reason. Obviously if we can get outside, great, but we can’t always and he has energy to burn. He’s got an indoor climbing frame which helps, I try to say not in the kitchen because it’s tiled and I’m worried he’ll slip over, but he likes to run in the living room and up and down the hallway etc. sure he’s had a couple of bumps, but part of learning spatial awareness! Everything that could cause significant harm isn’t in his path, or secured to the walls etc.
