Lactose milk
Have any mums given their baby lactose free milk without any health professional advice? Or can tell me if it would be ok to go ahead without the advice?
I just have a slight feeling my baby could be allergic but havent really been gettting the best help from professionals

Yes, some babies can find it hard to digest (there’s a whole group on here for CMPA). If you are in the UK, yes there are soya based powders but I believe you need to get them on prescription. I think you really need help from a health professional. What symptoms does your baby have?

How old is your baby? It Is really unusual for an under 2 to be allergic to Lactose, as it’s something that is normally developed in later life. Cows milk protein allergy however, is quite common, but lactose free milk won’t help if that is the issue
