Potty training pull ups size for 18m?

Hey guys! My son peed in the potty basically all on his own this week and is showing signs or readiness to start training. I’m only finding pull ups in size 2t. Is that the smallest they come in? He’s somewhere between a 5 & 6 in Huggies diapers right now. He fits some 2t pajamas so it should be fine right?

I wouldn’t do pull ups only for sleeping, they truly do slow the process down . Especially with all these new training underwear they have that are basically leakproof 🤔🤔

training pants they didn’t have the way they have now for my son 16 years ago 🤷🏽‍♀️

You could try them but pampers cruisers also has sizes 3-7 I believe which are pull ups

@Sam.iiAM why do they slow it down? I just wanna be able to pull them down and back up for practice sitting and going. Having to take the diaper off is a hassle bc he HATES laying down to get changed

2T pull ups would fit. The Walmart brand ones work well too. But I would try real underwear under the pull ups so he can feel the discomfort of being wet. Seems to help speed the process up

@Kelsey noted! I’m starting with the pull ups just to get him to use the potty again. He used it the one time 2 days ago but not again since. When he actually goes a few times then we’ll get into full time training but for now I just want him to get the idea down!

@Korissa exactly what we're working on rn 🙂

@Korissa ahhhh I get it now , they say it slows it down bc the pull ups are basically having a diaper on just with easier access to changing them every so often. 🤷🏽‍♀️

My 19m is potty trained but we use diapers for night (I value sleep lol) and pull ups when we’re out. She wears regular undies or just pants at home. Most of the time she keeps her pull ups dry but sometimes she asks to go while we’re in the car and I just can’t get to her in time. she wears size 2-3T. She’s tall for her age but she’s still got some baby chunk so the older pull ups fit

@Sam.iiAM oh that makes sense! Yeah we’re not ready ready to train, I don’t think he fully even grasps what having to pee is just yetttt but with pull-ups helping us practice hopefully soon.

@Chantal perfect I got the 2T! Daytime trained at 19months is amazing!
