Toddler’s first time sleeping in own room

Hi everyone! My baby is 19 months old and with our 2nd baby coming in December we decided to try to have our 1 year old sleep in her own room😭😭 I’m so anxious about her sleeping alone especially since her bedroom is at the front of the house and ours is at the back. A part of me really wants to keep her in our room, but I know she won’t be getting much sleep with the newborn if she does. How did you all handle moving your baby to their own room?

Literally didn’t sleep for two days just staring at the baby monitor or sitting outside of his room. But I promise it gets easier day by day. We switched him at 16m and he’s 19m now

I also have a 19 month old and a baby due in December! She still sleeps in our room too. Not sure how any of it is going to go haha.

The same situation and didn’t start transition bcs i am not ready to leave her 🥹

My son has been in his room since about 10-11 months, sleeps so much better in his room and bed. All bedrooms are on one side of the house so we are close which makes it a lot easier. I still sleep with him from time to time because I just miss him 🥲

Just brought my newborn home yesterday, I’ve been sleeping with my toddler in his room for the past 4 months. I went to put him down and started bawling my eyes out, no one prepares you for when you need to leave your first born :(
