Toddler’s first time sleeping in own room
Hi everyone! My baby is 19 months old and with our 2nd baby coming in December we decided to try to have our 1 year old sleep in her own room😭😭
I’m so anxious about her sleeping alone especially since her bedroom is at the front of the house and ours is at the back. A part of me really wants to keep her in our room, but I know she won’t be getting much sleep with the newborn if she does. How did you all handle moving your baby to their own room?

I also have a 19 month old and a baby due in December! She still sleeps in our room too. Not sure how any of it is going to go haha.
The same situation and didn’t start transition bcs i am not ready to leave her 🥹
My son has been in his room since about 10-11 months, sleeps so much better in his room and bed. All bedrooms are on one side of the house so we are close which makes it a lot easier. I still sleep with him from time to time because I just miss him 🥲
Just brought my newborn home yesterday, I’ve been sleeping with my toddler in his room for the past 4 months. I went to put him down and started bawling my eyes out, no one prepares you for when you need to leave your first born :(

Literally didn’t sleep for two days just staring at the baby monitor or sitting outside of his room. But I promise it gets easier day by day. We switched him at 16m and he’s 19m now
