Christmas presents

What's a good number of presents? I don't want to buy my kids a bunch of 'stuff.' We bought our daughter a big paw patrol lookout tower, a new tumbler like mommy's, a guess who game, a minnie 3d puzzle, a nerf gun and then little stocking stuffer trinkets. The paw patrol tower was her big gift, then the other gifts are stuff we can do with her together and spend time together. I'm getting her dad a nerf gun for him for Christmas from her so they can do that together. I know she will get stuff from Nana, grandma and grandpa. Part of me feels like I'm not getting enough and the other part didn't want to get too many things and stuff. The baby just got like 5 gifts too because he's a baby I don't feel near as bad. What everyone else's number of gifts for their kids. We didn't set a budget this year since we are pretty good financially to afford Christmas this year.

I like doing 2 big gifts, 5 medium gifts, 10 tiny gifts in total, and not by money but physical size bc kids are usually in the bigger = better mindset

I think 5 and under is a good amount. This year I got her magnetites, a mini Yoto, an outfit and a book. Her aunts/uncles and grandparents are sending gifts too. I have no clue how much they are sending so I’m keeping my batch small.

I think you’ve got it covered. 👍🏼 good job mama!! I do something similar, 1 big gift and a few smaller priced things. Or a big joint gift for the 4 and 2 yr old. Last year they got a play kitchen as a joint present. Because it was a couple hundred dollars. And one of the smaller gifts is from Santa. Last year they each got a flying fairy from the big guy. This year, I’ve already got santas gifts, a cookeez makery fridge each from Aldi aka santas elves!
