@Carolyn yup!
My daughter wouldn’t sleep on anything hard at all and we switched to a soft mattress and co-slept for about 8 months and now she’s on a medium soft mattress on the floor. Sleeps SO much better, I think the mattress really does matter
What @Carolyn said!
@Carolyn explains why she sleeps so well with us thank you
@MaryKate thanks for this once she’s out her cot will defo remember to find a medium soft mattress for her
My baby is the same. It’s because they are close to you. We have co-slept safely since she was about 2 weeks old because I was exhausted!
Babies want to sleep next to their mum.
@Carolyn what she said! But also I found that my little one was actually cold so slept better with me all warm, kept him warmed and now he doesn’t keep waking up!
It’s not the bed - it’s the you in the bed
My son has slept on a mattress on the floor since he was 7/8m old. He’s now almost 2 and has his own bed on his floor of his room. It’s just easier
It's probably not to do with how comfy the bed is and more to do with the fact that you are there next to her. Infant stress levels are lower when they sleep next to their parents.
