Sharp pain in uterus but goes away
So I’ve been having the issue of. When I sneeze my uterine area has a sharp pain, but goes away after a couple seconds, I’ve never had this experience before so is this something normal or should I be worried? I’m 8 weeks

@Madison it’s a very sharp zap pain that goes away after a couple of seconds, I just wanted to make sure it’s normal😂 because this is my first and I’ve never experienced it before.
@Karsyn Yeah that sounds exactly like lightning crotch or whatever weird name it has 😂 but it’s very normal some cramping in that area is also normal as the uterus continues to grow but again when in doubt reach out to your obgyn I was very anxious and overthought everything with my first so I understand you wanting to reach out to others and see if it’s normal 🥰

I think what you’re referring to is known as thunder crotch does it feel like a quick zapping pain in that area? If so that may be it but if you’re really that worried it never hurts to talk to your obgyn about the concern ❤️ but from my experience this is my second pregnancy it can be pretty normal to experience some pain/discomfort occasionally in that area as everything’s moving and expanding getting ready to accommodate and bring baby
