I use Aldi/tesco/morrisons for the day but only ever use pampers or on the odd occasion Morrisons baby dry pull ups for the night. They are 12 hour protection and have actually lasted me longer if my son has slept in a little longer. I’ve never had an issue with using these but only use them at night so it’s not super expensive 😅
We have tried them all, pampers were best but out of our budget (I think they’re super expensive in comparison to any other brand) - tescos f&f are just as good for out LO and about 90% less expensive. 😂 have you tried Tescos? X
On a different subject, can you tell me how to get them sleeping through the night?! Any special tips?? 🤣
Tesco’s own nappies are great for us, we are currently using size 4 and have no problems x
I had always used pampers just for bedtime. The pull up ones with the stop and protect.
Silly question I am sure, are they about to go up in clothes size? We used to find as the bodysuits got tighter he was likely to leak ?
Could be a few things, I’ve been told before could be because the temperature a drop or rise making baby more wet, size up, clothes becoming abit tight because when you do it up it doesn’t like the nappy expand properly, or brands! We use pampers at night and haven’t had a issue with the premium protection 12 hour protection x
We used Pampers overnight but just for bedtime. Aldi/tesco during the day By the time he soaked through and he had to change him, we ended up using 2/3 aldi nappies anyway so cost wise it wasn’t much different. And little was wasn’t wet and we could sleep through. Win win
We’ve never leaked in cloth. Granted he did have 3 of the 6 layer inserts at night giving him 18 layers of absorbency, he always woke up w dry pjs there was never a morning where he woke up wet pjs. They were a lil bulky but huge peace of mind for me knowing he’ll wake dry. You can try another brand, or you can get some pocket cloth diapers and put one insert in there and that over the disposable for more absorbency, which the insert will absorb what leaks from the disposable, and the real elastics catch any poop for if you use the covers during the day. We just use what I had and what I know worked which was cloth.
@Rachel 🤣🤣 I definitely think we just got lucky!! We’ve just kept a routine since he was 3 months old & about 2 months ago he started sleeping through! Touch wood it continues🤞😂 x
We use night time nappies and that helps
@Megan he is actually! He’s at the end of 6-9 so I’m going to put him in 9-12 vests today and see if it makes a difference🤞
Try 4+ as they are more absorbent x
Tesco size 4 are great.

Iv always used pampers and when the nappies start leaking at night I take that as a sign to size up and that always works
We found wirh my daughter that the Tesco rascals were the best for overnight, will be doing the same with baby #2 when he arrives x
We use aldi size 4 pants through the day but like urself they were leaking if left on too long so we use pampers pants for bedtime as theyre tighter
Used only pampers at night time as they were the only ones that didn't leak. Used Sainsbury's own nappies in the day as a lot cheaper
We had ALOT of this tried so many brands, vests you name it so now I put him in pampers for bed and then double it with a size 4 Aldi over it as it’s a looser fit on my little one and that’s helped the past few days🤞🏽
I used to have this problem for months! Everyone suggested sizing up which didn’t work for us. The only thing which helped was to double up, normal nappy on the bottom and a pull up pant on the top. He hasn’t leaked once since 😊 xx
Maybe go for the 4+ or change brand, make sure the frilly bits are not tucked in the nappy either.
Do you use night time diapers
