Weetabix

I want to try giving my baby weetabix but I have a few questions. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. 1. Do you use normal cows milk or formula? 2. Are normal adult weetabix OK? 3. How long do you leave it to 'soak'? Thank you 🙏

I use blue milk, yes aduly weetabix is ok and I dont actually know, I just put milk in and kind of mash it up until it's soft

You can use normal cows milk, full fat is best. Normal weetabix is fine just be a ware it has a bit of sugar in up to you but I choose to give it only occasionally. Just put milk on it gets left a minute or 2 while I'm sorting my breakfast then it fine. Great to add other stuff to as well. Nut butter, yogurt, crushed fruit etc

Formula (my baby is 7 months) Normal weetabix yes Leave it till it’s just warm as I make my baby his bottle and pour it into the bowl He prefers a warm breakfast as opposed to cold and I’m not introducing cows milk to weetabix until 12 months 😁

Used blue milk and she hated Weetbjx as much as me 😝

@Hayley 😂😂😂😂 my little boy doesn’t like it so much either, loves ready brek! I am obsessed with weetabix and honey, my staple brekky 🤣

I used formula until I had tested the diary allergen as weetabix is also classed as an allergen. Used weetabix I have for breakfast. Put milk in, warmed in microwave and smushed it like a porridge x

I crumble half a weetabix up, add milk and mix around with a spoon. I use cows milk. Put in microwave for 30 seconds and then stir again, leave to cool down for around 5 minutes x

I tried it with breast milk it was interesting 😂

I share my weetabix with my LB every morning 🤣 I use whole milk. Smash it all up in a bowl first

Planning to give normal adult weetabix in formula milk and leave to soak till it's mash consistency and heat up. It's okay to use cows blue milk too if cooked and 6m above.

I use 2oz of formula for 1 weetabix. Shes off her milk since starting solids so it’s another way of getting her to get those ounces in 😅

You can use cows milk within food before 1. Just make sure its full fat as babies aren't meant to have reduced fat anything. I've not given mine it but when I have weetabix it usually takes a few minutes to go mushy
