Help!! Breastfed baby won't take bottle

Hi, my LO started refusing dummies at around 3 months, he's now 5 months and won't take the bottle either. I went about a month/6 weeks without giving breast milk through bottle, now he only accepts breast. Have to return to work soon and very stressed about this please help!

Just keep doing it eventually he’ll realise that’s the only way. Sounds nasty but if he’s hungry he will eventually take it or try a different bottle with a different teet on it

I had the same issue!! Got there eventually and he now takes some from a nuk perfect match bottle which is not the one we were using before! He was on solids when I went back to work so health visitor just said make sure he eats food and drinks water!

Make sure someone else is offering the bottle and try not to be around do he can’t smell you.

Running the nipple down their nose and into their mouth and aiming for the roof of their mouth can trigger them to start sucking. I personally wouldn’t be holding out in the hope they’ll accept when they’re hungry enough. Some babies just dont know how to feed from a bottle. You could also try starting baby off breastfeeding then switching to bottle to get them used to it.
