4 month Sleep regression

Mammas! I heard a lot about the 4 month sleep regression - and I thought surely not my angel who has only ever woken up 1-2 times a night since birth. Little one will be 4 months in a week, and the last couple of nights gave been rough! Now he’s definitely not sick and the last couple of nights have been a little warmer and a blocked nose has always been somewhat of an issue for us. He woke up for at least 45 min starring and singing at the ceiling and during the night was stirring and complaining alot! At least 6 or 7 times... Is this the dreadful sleep regression at four months or something else? And do u have any tops for me please?

It could be! But there's no need to dread any regression. The first year for most babies sleep changes so much and there's lots of regressions and developmental changes that can affect sleep, it's normal and after having two babies I've found that if you just roll with it and continue with whatever settling technique you're comfortable with you'll feel a lot more relaxed about sleep 😊 for me, I coslept through every regression because my babies are were both quite clingy and really needed closeness, other mums I know sleep trained or just stuck with the same settling technique. Every baby is different so do what works for you and your baby

I’m at the 4 months stage and my baby had the same symptoms - definitely sleep regression. Just get that extra sleep if you can when baby goes down, I co slept with my baby too and just settle them when they stir
