@Nadia okay thank you 🫶🫶
@Nadia I’m a first time mom so I have no idea and googling things does not help anyone tbh 😂😂
Sign up for a class with similar ages as your child. Sometimes a baby needs to be model it, that happened to my daughter.
No pointing as of yet just clapping but my LO pediatrician said the pointing starts more around 15months so in the meantime offer ur kiddo two toys and have them point and pick at which one they wanna play with , that’s what we’re been doing with my LO (if she’s not trying to eat the toys lol) and it’s helping her point or select what she wants more, remember it’s a new world so we’re all learning how to learn something together, you got this momma 💪
@Monae that’s such a good idea I’ve been playing a lot of Mrs Rachel music for him because I’ve seen his try to clap before so I know he can do it I just think he’s lazy 😂 and does whatever he wants! He shakes his head no which I think is a more closer to 15 months thing so I know he’s smart he knows how to open the dog kennel and will let the dog out we didn’t really clap around him up until I think a month ago like we did just not as much as now.
Give them time! Although they may not be learning clapping, they're probably learning so many other things! Don't stress about milestones. Every baby is completely different! My baby is behind on certain "milestones" but ahead or on time. Try to stay off Google and talk to real moms or see what your pediatrician says! You'll more than likely be at ease when you hear from every day mama's! I've learned that babies will do what they need to do when ready. Don't stress, you're an amazing mom!
That’s normal! My son turned one. I was majorly concerned about it and not walking despite being able to stand and support with assistance, and literally the day after his birthday he was walking, jumping while standing. 😂 The other day i got surprised when getting pointed something on his book, and said diapa (diaper) when i told him it was time to change diaper. Lol It can happen spontaneously, or take a bit longer, but every baby is different. Since baby is just turning one its not covering unless its way past 18 months and there’s a myriad of other milestones you notice baby is not getting. Just be very repetitive with signs/gestures you want to introduce.
@Jessica thank you so much Jessica! we didn’t really clap around him both me and my husband realized that was something we never really did but he waves shakes his head no and just had hi first word and gesture today saying hi and waving and he turned pages in his book he just turned one and he hated whole milk last week and now he loves it & thank you so much I appreciate hearing that I try my hardest ♥️
@Xiomara E. He will hold onto furniture with one hand, and switch hands I think he is getting ready to stand unsupported and then walking there after I don’t think he’s going to be a cruiser. and that’s so stinking cute I love kids and watching them grow!
Yeah, thats exactly how my son started to do unsupported. Once he starts being able to turn back while holding with one hand, those first steps aren’t far off! 😊 Totally super cute
My daughter just turned one. She only started clapping and now she does it all the time. I would give your baby a bit more time
