Baby kicks

I had a really active baby from 15 weeks up until yesterday (I’m now 18 weeks) now I’m lucky if I get a few kicks a day, is this concerning?

Hey I’m exactly the same! Have you seen your midwife yet? I asked her and she said it’s totally normal to feel them on and off! You could also be missing it, I sit and feel once I’ve eaten and sometimes I’ll feel a little something. Trying not to worry about it until it gets to the 20-24 week mark because then you can go in and be checked (from what I understand!)

I’ve had the same - spoke to midwife and had baby’s heartbeat checked as I felt nothing for a week and they said as baby is still so small they have likely just moved and are still moving / kicking but we just don’t feel it as much. I felt them daily from 13-16 weeks but now I’m 18+4 and it’s every other day as they’ve moved away from the very front. I would say speak to midwife if you’re concerned and they can always check baby to put you at ease x

I’m 18 weeks lovely and I’ve noticed my little one has started to move away from the front of my pelvis and seems to be a little further up. They are on the move. I’ve noticed as well the movement aren’t as much. I would suggest try and eat something sugary and try to rub your stomach to stimulate little one and see if that encourages any movements. If not and you are still worried just call your midwife and see if you can get in to hear a heartbeat ❤️

hey! i had this at 18 weeks and worried for days about it. honestly they’re so small that they move about so much. if you’re busy and out and about they will settle down as every day noises can be soothing, i find when i lay down and just be calm i notice them more. they also can end up turning around so the kicks will go to your back so you won’t feel them! xx

Be worried then you are far along and don’t feel baby as much especially when you’ve studied their pattern. Right now you may or may not feel baby as much until you are further along
