Ones that have a wide opening with Velcro
These ones have zips at the back and the ‘laces’ are elastic but he just scrunches his little toes up. Such a stubborn child! 😅
So random but I’ve just clocked we’re from the same town 😊
My little one must have big feet hes a 4.5 😂xx
Velcro shoes are the best for toddlers
https://amzn.eu/d/c3EXVw4 You could try something like this, accessible footwear making it easier to get on
Practice 😅 Lots of wiggling haha. At first you're worried you're gonna hurt their feet, but then you start to be more firm and manage to get it in and no pain caused ha xx
Could you not swap the elastic laces for normal laces allowing the shoe to open up so you can just slip his foot in, zip them up and then tighten the laces?
@Paige my little boy is a size 6 and he was born in June😂
@Natalya my boy is in a 7, he turned 18 months today 😆🤦♀️
@Beccy they grow out of shoes so fast don’t they! I’ve been reselling my boys on vinted😂😂😂
@Natalya I know! I bought Jaxon two pairs of trainers the other day, best part of £70! I even commented that I could get two pairs of shoes for that which would last me a lifetime!! Scary!!xx
@Beccy stupid isn’t it! I want to get my little boy matching Nike dunks to mine but I refuse to pay I think it was £55 for his till his feet stop growing so fast😂 currently looking and like winter boots for him and they’re like £35!
Haha my boys feet haven’t grown in 6 months! I looked at his baby footprint yesterday and it’s not much bigger. No wonder he struggles to walk, he’s totally top heavy! Thanks for the advice and recs ladies! I’ll have a browse and see what else I can find, and keep persevering! @Mallory oh hey girl!!

@Natalya it’s absolutely scandalous!! Even none branded stuff though- £22 for a pair of wellies that if we are lucky, will last a handful of weeks!!x
Zips down the side instead of the back helps and maybe they aren’t the right size. My girl is a size 4 but size 5 in vans
We only have high top shoes at the moment, and boots. I find it ok to put them on. On the shoes we have like an elastic band instead of shoe lace, so that helps for sure. Boots are a bit difficult, her feet never fully slides on, so she needs to step on them.
