Rolling over

My baby is almost 8 months and has been rolling from his tummy to his back for months now, but still hasn't rolled from his back to his tummy yet. He sits up on his own, but isn't crawling, and he HATES being on his tummy or back now that he knows how to sit up. Any tips on how to get him to be able to learn to roll onto his tummy?

Have you put him on his side? Maybe put his favorite toys in front of him? Some babies just don't want anything to do with certain things. He'll do it all in his own time. ❤️

No lie, everything I’ve been worried about my girl doing according to her age has always happened when I started complaining lol..it’ll happen on HIS time mama 🥰one day you gonna walk past him and he’s gonna roll over before you notice it

@Natalie I've tried but he just kicks himself and rolls back onto his back. He starts crying like he's stressed or something when I put him down in any position other than sitting, and the cry stresses me out😞

I keep trying to tell myself he will do it on his own time, but also feel like it's a little bit my fault because I'm not able to sit with him as much in the evenings now since he's eating dinner with us, because we get home from work/school so close to dinner time and then bed time. I used to just eat dinner after he went to bed but now I have to make it before bed since he's eating it.
