Yoto player

Has anyone brought a yoto/Tonie player for their little one? Thinking about it for Christmas as my little girl loves music and dancing and they have cards with nursery rhymes/classical music/ballet songs which I know she would just love. My concerns are that even though it's no screens it is technology and so far all her toys etc have been non electronic. My other personal concern is it might drive me mad listening to the same songs over and over again 😂 anyone with any experiences/thoughts please let me know!

Following! Can’t decide whether to get my daughter one or not.. not because of the tech (she loves all singing dancing toys so I’m used to that) but alot of the tonies are characters of tv shows/films she’s never seen. So I’m not sure how fussed she would be 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s a lot of money for her not to be arsed about it 😂

My Mother in Law has bought my little one a Tonies. But we haven't used it yet. Rather than us spending loads on it I've asked for Tonies as gifts for my little one x

We have both! Yoto definitely better in my opinion and my son is 5 ... he listens to it every night. My daughter is 1 and will be getting tonie box, kinda wishing i also got her a yoto ! Xx

When she’s older like 4 + I think it will be great

We’ve got a Yoto for my eldest who is 3. He loves it and has had it since he turned 2. There is such a good range of cards for it. They make great presents when family ask for ideas! You can also get a monthly subscription for them if you want to. We chose Yoto over Tonies as they have cards suitable for older kids so hopefully it will last longer. But I have friends who love the Tonie box too! I think it would make a lovely Christmas gift x

We got my daughter a tonie box last year (she'd just turned 2) and she loves it. It was particularly handy duting potty training as she would actually stay on the potty and listen to a story long enough to do her poop. My 14 month old also loves it! Knows how to turn it on. He absolutely loves the jungle book one. Its on like 20 times a day but fortunately i love the jungle book and dont find it too annoying lol. Haven't used yoto but I've heard they are also excellent. I think either will be great for building vocabulary but obviously nothing beats reading books together. We actually got books to go with some of the tonies so that she was familiar with the stories

We're getting a Yoto for our little boy for Christmas - you can get "make your own" cards and we're going to ask family and friends to read their favourite stories for our little boy to listen to 🥰
