Toilet

I’m 34wks and the last few days I’ve been feeling like I constantly need to 💩. And I mean constantly. When I try and go nothing much happens. Is this something I should be concerned about. It’s my first pregnancy so not sure if it’s normal but my stomach is hurting. It’s been about 2 days.

Are you constipated? I really recommend these probiotics if you are x https://amzn.eu/d/6sLfe3H

Not really constipated, I’m getting minimal bowl movements, just not much. My bump has also felt quite hard, not sure if it’s related

I’d give your midwife a call if you’re worried but I’m sure it’s another annoying but normal third trimester symptom!

I'm 34w and feeling the same. The top of my bump is just fluid now. So I think baby has at least partially engaged. The extra pressure down there is from their big ol' head. Everything is sore and puffy, too 😬 Isn't pregnancy magical?! (Said no pregnant person, ever) 🙃😆

My last scan the baby was breech so I hope the ‘pressure’ isn’t him being engaged 🙈.

Hopefully not! I haven't had a scan since 20w, or even seen my midwife for 6w now, so I've no idea what the little monkey is up to! It's really odd how little they check on you when you're pregnant. I'm constantly stressing and my midwife doesn't even respond to texts and I have no number to call. Frankly, it's a shitshow 😬 But, we're nearly there now! x

@Anna I was told for some appointments after 24 weeks i need to book myself. I had no idea, I missed 2 appointments because of it. It was only when I went to triage for reduced movements they told me I should’ve phoned to book them myself. Not sure if it’s the same everywhere (I’m in wales)

That's very annoying! Thankfully, I have a printed schedule in my notes folder, so I know which weeks I am supposed to have appointments. We just don't get many in my NHS Trust 😕

Following! I’m having the exact same, I feel like I really need to go and have a massive 💩 and then I get on the toilet and nothing happens just feels like so much pressure from my lady area instead almost like I can feel something there if that makes sense?🤣 this is my second baby and I don’t remember this feeling with my first, I have midwife on Thursday so I’ll ask her and let you know what she says xx
