My son started crawling around 8 months and started walking around 12 months.
My LG has just started crawling at 15 months, they all do it in their own time, I wouldn't worry too much❤️
5.5 months walking at 9.5months there all different wasnt expecting to have eyes in the back of my head so soon 😂
My LG is 8 and a half months old and she’s started to move about alot more and is really trying! Every baby is different and some babies don’t crawl they just go straight to walking! It’s also so hard when you hear and see everyone else’s baby doing things that your baby isn’t. I’m trying to get my baby to clap and she’s not having any of it. And the other babies at baby group are clapping and I’m desperate for her to do it also but every baby is unique and will do it at their own pace (being a nursery nurse doesn’t help me wanting her to do stuff and she just won’t😳🤣) x
Mine is 8months and doesn’t want to crawl but would rather stand and try and take steps lol we’ll see if he decides to crawl
@Jodie no it doesn’t help I’m a nursery practitioner too and I’m very paranoid that he’s meeting all of the milestones and feel pressure that he should because of my job xxx
It’s the worst isn’t it! The pressure you put yourself under trying to get them to do everything early on. It’s so tricky but you got this mama! He will be just fine and do everything whenever he wants to! (I have to tell myself this daily🤣). I was trying so hard to get her to say ‘mama’ for the longest time and I just stopped saying it as much and after a few days she said it 🤣 xx
Crawling isn’t even a milestone! My son didn’t crawl until 10 months but he was walking at 12 months so he definitely wasn’t late with walking.
6 months walking at 9 months x
It was late 8 months that she actually did after rocking up on her knees for a good three months. I took her to a friend’s house and made their kids teach her to crawl and it totally worked 😂
@Jodie my little boy just says ‘dada’ all the time 🫠 I was devastated I’m desperate for him to say mama but it only come out when he’s upset, you’ve got this 💪🏻 your little girl is very lucky to have you🤍xxx
She crawled backwards longer than she crawled forward at 8m. She started walking independently at 9m tho, she kinds refused to take steps before that and did it herself
My baby started crawling at 6 months and walking at 11 months and now at 15 months he’s climbing up everything like my washing machine!! 😅
Mine didn’t crawl until 2 days after 1st birthday ! I was very worried but he was taking steps at 14 months ish

My daughter started crawling at 6mo & walking at 9mo.
Crawling 5 months, walking 9 months
On average its anywhere between 6-10 months I've seen, but my little boy started a few days before turning 14 months but doesn't do it often just here and there will take a few crawl movements - its not consistent. No sign of walking yet either but he has conditions preventing his development and has global developmental delay which is why he's progressing slower than average babies
My son bum shuffled and didn’t start crawling till he was about 15 months old!
@Isabelle when did he start walking? I’m worried it’s going to delay my little one walking 🥺 xxx
My little boy started crawling at 7 months and walked a week before he turned 11 months x
Some babies don’t crawl at all! My little sister (13 years younger than me) went straight from bum shuffling to walking, so don’t worry too much x
She just started at 6 m but she is in daycare I believe her watching her friends is wwt made her
My girl didn’t start *properly* crawling on all fours until 13 months! She made her own way and bum shuffled and scooted around from about 9 months. She also didn’t walk until a week before she turned 18 months, she’s just a stubborn girlie who only does things when she feels like 🤷🏼♀️ You don’t need to start worrying about crawling until around 14 months :)
Some babies skip it altogether. If a baby goes from scooting to walking that’s perfectly acceptable I had a friend who’s baby kinda army crawled he pulled himself around the house but only really using one arm one leg lol but he’s up and running now
Both of mine were around 9/10 ish months & it felt late probably closer to 10m tbh but both of them as soon as they started crawling within days they were on their feet.. then letting go & getting balance then taking steps first born as he turned 11months & second born about a week after 11months.. their all different though some don’t walk til 15-16months just arnt interested but may be chatting away so mine are confident active but my lil boy is only just starting to talk now at 28months comparing him to my friends little boy who is 4 weeks older.. can have full conversations with him & have been able to for months now.. but is soo cautious on his feet whereas mine has no fear climbs & confident as anything
4 months army crawled 5 months on hands and knees. Pulled to stand at 6 1/2 months. Walked supported with toys and cruising down the couch at 7 1/2-8months. Every child is different
Around 7/8months then by 11months she was walking
