Few minutes of meditation all 5 senses can calm you down instantly/ time out in the loo/ deep breathing

On days like that I like to sit in a room by myself for five minutes to breath and pray. I come back and keep going with our day. I also explain to my toddler that mommy needs five minutes and that I will be back after those five minutes. Anywhere I go I leave the door open so I can still keep an eye on her, but those five minutes a day are very much needed. I even started implementing quiet time, which I let the kids go to their room for an hour to play with toys, watch tv, or take a nap. It’s amazing for all of us!

Love these tips, thank you!

Earplugs. One ear is fine if you find yourself popping them in and out. You're totally overstimulated. When you turn down the volume, you'll feel less irritated by every little thing. Also, take a shower at your next opportunity.

I have a little folder of saved tik tok videos that are all about motivation and cute baby things and how feelings are valid but temporary. I remind myself everyday he will never be this small again and that usually snaps me out of it. You're doing great !

Music. I pump up music. Upbeat Reggaeton for me but whatever makes you happy and hopefully makes your hips swing like Reggaeton does 😂 or slower music if upbeat is not your vibe. Find music that your soul just melts to And then tagging out when the hubby comes home. If you have one

When I'm overwheled,I listen to great worship songs that remind me of God’s goodness 🥰🥰 Klove radio is an absolute gem for where to get songs to stay positive and encouraged. I recommend Miracle by Unspoken: https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=0dCk4OsNPUY&si=0S1MhZUXg7JZz3wc

Have any headphones?? I put her in the stroller, put on my noise canceling headphones with my favorite playlist and take her around the neighborhood.

Love all these you guys are all rocking momhood!

I stay sane by savoring the small things, like a cup of coffee in the mornings, a hot steamy shower in the evenings, and alone time with my husband when the kids go to bed. I look forward to each thing throughout the day so even when I'm overwhelmed I know that a nice moment is coming within a few hours. Music, having a good TV show to watch on days I have downtime, and a good book to read also helps. I like fantasy type books bc you kind of enter another world and leave reality behind for a little bit lol.
