Yes, I think it's a comfort thing. My boys felt a lot safer when they could see what was around them at night, so I gave one to my daughter as well. Plus it helped with late night wakings, so I wasn't tripping over things.
Honestly, he still rooms with us and it's easier if it's completely dark.... But sometimes I've used a light on in the closet but kept the room lights off.... Or the LED light sensing plug in night light
We do have a fun light projector that may be we will use again at some point, but I think it was a distraction, to a degree
No but we have a little kid chair in the room that has glow in the dark stitching so it’s kind of like a little light. We didn’t get it for that purpose. We also utilize a little red light before bed and for finding stuff like the pacifier in the dark. Then we say good night to it. I hate nightlights personally so won’t unless it’s necessary!
We keep ours on all night but it’s mainly because I have to get to the crib to pick her up to breast feed in the middle of the night
We use red light all night
Yep! I use an astronaut nebula and star projector. I don't use the star option, and the nebula is red and on the lowest light setting.
