A few nights away

Can you do one night away or even do something during the day or ask if you could do it the following year?

@Karen it's in December when they want to do it and it's cause it's in Bournemouth which is like a 2 hour drive away

We send our kids away for whole summers happily so let me be quiet 😂✌🏾 our kids love visiting family cause we have so much of it it’s 8 of us alone and my husband has 9 siblings so our kids stay on the move lol we love our lives and they live theirs and we come back together 🫶🏾😂

How old are your babies?

It would depend on age to me but if he’s never been away even for 1 night that might be a stretch. Can you try a trial run?

I personally wouldn’t at 9 months old But I’m also super clingy with my babies LOL It’s at your own discretions I wouldn’t judge you etheir way. If you need the break take it

I would probably suggest a trial run 9M is still quite young and I know my daughter is very attached to me I think she would be ok now for maybe a half day, but she doesn’t sleep well for anyone other than me and maybe her dad. So if your son is quite attached to you it might be difficult for him to be away for 3 days if he’s never been without you.
