The exhaustion is real

I’m struggling with exhaustion between getting up to pee 3 times a night, struggling to find a comfortable sleep position and just being pregnant. I work from home but I frequently find myself just staring at the computer doing absolutely nothing because I’m so dang tired.

I FEEL you on this. I work night shifts and I’m nodding off between the hours of 11 and 6 😭

AGREED. Even worse my job never has anything to do for me anymore working from home. And they say you need a legit medical condition to utilize FMLA....uhmmmm shouldn't pregnancy BE a medical condition in itself.

@Megg omg I couldn’t imagine working the night shift while pregnant. I struggled to stay awake when I wasn’t pregnant and working the night shift

@Brianna I feel like that’s a setup. It sounds like they pay you to stay awake and keep the computer active for 8 hours a day

This is so me!! I would start leave tomorrow if I could just so I could catch up on sleep 🥺

Sooo tired too. I struggle with insomnia plus all the reasons you listed and a toddler going through a sleep regression. I catch myself zoning out through the day and once its bedtime can’t seem to sleep, definitely frustrating. It would be so hard to concentrate on a desk job at the moment

I was literally just saying this 😭 30/31 weeks!!

I'm pregnant with #4 so I totally get it! With # 2 it was so bad I would fall asleep at my desk and wake myself up snoring, it wouldn't be long, usually enough for my head to fall back. I could even get up and walk around and still sit back down and do the same. Is it an option for you to take a nap at lunch? I know some work from home with littles at home. I know with #3 I was at a different job and had an hour long lunch, so I'd eat and then nap on/ off for about 30-45, but with #2 I only had 30 min lunch so it was harder, and there were many days at that job i didn't even get lunches. But it truly was a saving grace! *sorry for the long message*

@Desiree this is baby #3 for me. I don’t remember being this tired and uncomfortable sleeping with my other 2. I take naps during my break but sometimes they make me feel worse than before I took it.
