I find it quite uncomfortable so my husband does the longer journeys (work commute) and I typically only drive locally around town. But there is nothing to say you need to stop as far as I'm aware.
I drove to hospital with my first 😅 I was 40+4 My husband had gone to work and I rang the midwife so she asked me to pop in for a check up as I’d had the sweep the day before not thinking I was actually in labour but I felt poorly. To find I was in fact in labour and had sepsis 🫣 only drive if you feel comfortable though. Luckily it is only 5 minutes up the road.
I'm 33+5 and still driving almost every day
I go by if I can touch the dash behind the steering wheel, my feet press the pedals properly and my bump isn't touching the steering wheel then I will carry on. This was my tick list for my first pregnancy too, I drove all the way to 41+1 x
I was driving while in labor lolll and my son’s doctor was at a hospital 45minutes away.😂 I just think it’s whatever you think you can handle.
Im not going to stop driving unless I feel I physically can't. There are no laws against it and I have another child I have to get to school etc. x
