@Jane This sounds tough! My partner tries but he’ll say things like “I’m happy to help just make a list of what needs to be done”. I don’t understand why he can’t see the jobs that need to be done and do them 🙄 Hoping it gets easier as they get older 🤞🏻
Try get them to put their plates away after their done eating, show them how to sweep show them where to put their clothes after u have folded it . After awhile it will be like seconded nature and they will do it themselves just try 😊
I have a cleaner and the house is still in a mess! I do enjoy my evenings though. I’m overwhelmed with trying to work and stressing if she’s OK while I’m away. Other than that it’s all good. But even that is all consuming. Having to take on the full mental load of raising my first child while my bd consistently has a bad mood and is rude to me. Very challenging. Something has to give. I’m not sure what yet. Maybe not working. Maybe letting my dad take care of her. But - something! Maybe even putting her in nursery. She’s a bit too young for nursery imo but being broke isn’t an option. All would be well if my BD would look after her while I work and we could separate. For you - maybe do less or get a PA to run errands.
