EBF - how many times a day and transition to cows milk?

My little man will be 12 months of 14th Dec and has been EBF since birth - he took expressed milk from a bottle a handful of times when tiny but refused bottles every since and tbh didn’t really try too hard as I was happy (and lucky enough) to breastfeed. I’m in no rush to completely stop breastfeeding. How many times a day are you ladies breastfeeding at 11.5months? When transitioning to cows milk has anyone gone straight to sippy cup? Any tips/advice welcome … ☺️

Not much advice but we still feed every 3-4 hours, day & night. More feeds if he is teething or ill etc. He isn’t a great eater so I haven’t cut any feeds to make sure he is still getting his calories. He won’t take a bottle but I have tried him on an open cup of milk… which he immediately spat out 😂😩 so I haven’t tried it again 🫠

At that age I was breastfeeding 2 times a day. I then switched one to cows milk and the second about a week later. I went straight to sippy cup and my son had no issues, never gave him a bottle. x

Baby is nearly 13 months but we’ve been at the same stage since just before 12 months. He feeds every 3 hours when with me but goes 10 hours with no milk on nursery days. He feeds 6x on average overnight. Sometimes less sometimes more. He’s never taken cows milk he doesn’t like it but will drink small amounts of oat milk when I work evenings. Never had a bottle went straight to a straw cup x

Mines 16 months old still breastfeeding. He takes an occasional cows milk serving here and there but only at the nursery and only when he doesn't like the food and is hungry We just give him solids and loads of yogurt and cheese. When he does take milk it's from a sippy cup/open cup
