I had a private scan 25th Aug which was a MMC (should have been 10 weeks but baby stopped at 7 and sac had started to collapse/break down). Had 0 warning or symptoms of this other than not having bad morning sickness which I experienced with my son. I didn’t start lightly bleeding till 29th Aug but it was very on/off for 2 weeks, due to still having significant tissue left on the scan they advised I took tablets but just before I did I passed some very large clots and heavy bleeding which would taper off for a few days before a repeat of clots/haemorrhage. I did end up having two rounds of tablets which I didn’t find did anything, no cramps etc and after passing the placenta/sac all the bleeding stopped for 1.5 weeks & I tested negative 15th Oct. I was advised to have one cycle before trying again just to make sure anything left over would be gone. I can imagine they will advise you to either take tablets or surgery (D&C) Sorry you are going through this ❤️🩹
Hi I was 8w1d when I had a scan privately I had only a sac, nothing else. I had to wait 10 days. (I already knew as I’d figured there was something wrong 3 weeks prior to my early scan, was in denial and it was still early I guess. They basically offered me a managed miscarriage (pills, which is what I went for) they make you bleed) or a d&c or you can have it naturally. I was 11w by the time I went back for my scan and it was confirmed. My baby had died around the 6-7 week mark unfortunately and had absorbed by the looks of it x
