Christmas/birthday allocation

How do you split presents with birthdays so close to Christmas? I’ve just done a count and we have 50 ish gifts in total. Do you guys do an even split? Do you give more for Christmas or more for birthday? Do you stagger them through the year?

My son’s birthday is New Year’s Day! I tend to do more for birthday just to make it more special for him. I fill a big sack of presents at Christmas from Santa and put a few under the tree but the rest then go to birthday

My son has got his stocking from santa and a few of his wants from us for Christmas, but his main present is his 'big boy' bike which he'll get for his birthday - which is also new years day- then some small bits. We don't go mad with gifts but I'd say in terms of quantity there's more for Christmas but that's including his santa gifts. I wanted to give his main gift for his birthday to make his birthday the bigger deal 😊x

I try to do a even split, one big present for each then some smaller presents. His birthday is new year's day x

i pick two main presents for each, tend to give her the smaller of the pair for christmas as she gets a lot of stuff from family anyway. then i just kinda pair stuff that goes, for christmas she’s getting a dollhouse so i’ve got her dolls and the room sets for it and then birthday she’s getting a market stall and i found a cute shopping trolley on ebay for £12 to go with it. i think this will be the last year we go big with her gifts as we’ve got another due next and definitely won’t be able to afford as much, might even put some stuff away for next year if i can’t find anything decent in january sales😂

I do a roughly even split, try to do it sort of by type, so if I’ve got him 4 books I’d give 2 for Christmas and 2 for birthday. Other than that just try to make sure he’s got a mix of stuff on both days!
