Don't stick to a schedule, feed when they shoe hungry cues

I say just feed him whenever he’s hungry, your baby knows when it’s hungry better than anything lol

Feed when they give hunger cues. There’s no right or wrong ‘schedule’. You’ll learn your little ones cues and he will find his own rhythm over time. I felt i was always giving not enough/too much and too often/not often enough by midwives. Babies don’t have schedules. The first hunger sign is waking up at that age. Look hunger cues up if you aren’t 100% sure. As long as your baby is putting on weight, seems happy and content then that’s the main thing! X

Feeding team midwife told me; Feed on hunger cues and don’t let them go longer than 3-4 hrs til above birth weight, and if baby is finishing bottle make more in bottle each time so let them tell you when they’re finished so the amount they are taking starts increasing, ie they may be finishing bottle but still be hungry. Every baby is different so you know best what is right for your baby! As Jami said, as long as baby happy & feeding it will be fine!! X
