@Jani he will be 3 months on the 26th
We are combo/triple feeding since our son has low weight too and he'll be 3mo on the 28th. We try to aim for more than 24-32oz or 720-960ml per day, spread out over breastfeeding sessions, expressed breast milk bottles, and formula. We count 4oz in a bottle as a "meal" at about 3 hour intervals if I am not breastfeeding for that slot. He gets 10 meals in a day, so that is supposed to put his intake at about 1200 ml for the regular meals, but with breastfeeding sessions it's hard to tell. If he is still hungry in between meals, we give him a formula "snack" of about 2oz. Our goal is high caloric intake to get his weight up out of the lowest percentiles, and so far this has been working. We try to go over the typical or minimum because of his weight issues, but I found this chart helpful: https://www.parents.com/baby/feeding/baby-feeding-chart-how-much-and-when-to-feed-infants-the-first-year/ Some babies do full meals and others are snackers. I just depends on how your little one prefers to eat.
@Rachel thank you for the resource... I think he has averaged between 13-15oz of formula from when I was gone 6:30a-5:00p. Then I just breastfeed when I'm with him so not sure what he gets there... he fell too much off his curve and now we are trying to get him back up
How old is the baby
