Sex pp

I’m 3 ish weeks Pp (first baby) and i am so horny honestly. My boyfriend has been so loving and amazing and he hasn’t brought to having sex once since he’s aware we have to wait at least 6 weeks but every night once we get our baby down for his first long stretch of sleep of the night i just want to jump this man’s bones and i can’t 😭. I started my birth control again this week which also might contribute to it. But im also so anxious i’ve heard mixed messages about people having sex again pp. What was your guys experience?

I waited six weeks postpartum because it was really swollen and I just had my baby too last month and I was the same way

I had a natural vaginal birth, with minimal complications. I was 4 weeks postpartum when we had sex, and I was absolutely fine. Though, the day after I did begin bleeding (Normal light period), which others have said is normal or could well be coincidental x

i did it 4 weeks postpartum ! as long as you're not bleeding you're good to go

i would keep waiting. i felt the same at 2/3 weeks but waited until 7 and i couldn’t imagine doing it earlier. it hurt and was not fun the first time, give yourself more time to heal!

Definitely wait 6 weeks. I’m glad you started birth control to help not get pregnant but you are also healing from your placenta wound. Which is huge. And if you have sex it could get infected. Well if you put anything up there it could get infected. And you’re still healing on the outside too. If you got stitches those are still healing and even if you didn’t your body is just recovering. Give it time. But haha I totally understand I wanted to have a ton of sex right a couple weeks after

I agree with the above comment. It’s not worth it, wait the six weeks love. That plate sized wound could get infected
