Following in the same boat! N my wee girl is 6kgs too tall and slim
@Ebony I’ve just looked and these start at 8kg so she’s way off that, I think she’d crawl out of them! She’s so tiny that she can get in 0-3 clothes still for her body but will easily fill 9-12 leggings for her leg length 😂
@Jade we're a 0-3 waistband but 6-9 on the legs. They never make anything the right size! Have you thought about reusable nappies? They're completely adjustable to baby's size and shape and more secure than normal nappies. I've used them a couple of times and honestly prefer them just don't have the drying space for them at the moment else I'd be using them
I was just gifted a load of pampers pull ups which I’ve used at night time for the last 2 nights ….. but how on earth would I take them off if there’s a poo in there 😳
@Hayley you rip at the sides, there’s a frilly line down both sides where you rip x
I personally think that pull ups would make things even tricker if the child is not able to stand independently/ whilst holding on to something. I use pull ups with my toddler at night but used normal nappies all the way up to potty training as it was easier to get two stickers down than it was to get a pull up on. You just learn to roll with the punches as it gets even harder to change them when they can crawl away or walk/ run and argue with you that they would rather revel in their own poop than lie down for a clean nappy.
@Sophie I was today years old to learn this 😂 thank you
@Steph she is standing whilst holding things but I can’t seem to work out getting a standard nappy in while she’s stood! We get her dressed stood up now which has been a game changer. She just will not lie down to have her nappy done, she’s either rolling away or crawling away or trying to climb things. We’ve had to abandon the changing table as it’s too much of a risk now as well!
@Hayley which size and how much does your little one weigh? You can rip the sides rather than pulling them down x
@Ebony are they reusable ones not just as fiddly to put on as a standard nappy? Our issue is she will not lie down, ever 😂 she’s either rolling or crawling away or pulling herself up on something
@Jade I didn’t know 😅 Was dreading a poo. Someone local gave me a huge bag of 4s. Last weigh in was 3 weeks ago and she was 15 something.
@Jade I've found they're quicker to put on.
Both of my kids have been in pullups since they were 3 months old, I just hate normal nappies I always find it tricky to put them on 😄 Aldi & Pampers are the ones we use. Aldi for my toddler & pampers for my youngest because my toddler is really really thin and aldi just fit him better. But both very good.
@Hayley just rip off the sides they have a dotted line/dart. Have you seen any size 3 pull ups yet ? I believe they only start from size 4 and what's the weight on these please ?
Aldi nappies I find run smaller than pampers. My little girl is tall and slim so pampers are always huge on her. We're on the 50th centile after being born in the 9th and in size 4 aldi nappies (aldi start pull up at 4 if I remember correctly)
