C-section hip/groin pain

I find that my back has been sore quickly after any extenuating movement.

I had that pain the other day - absolutely killed to do anything thankfully only lasted a day but there wasn’t any point in taking pain killers and they didn’t work x

So! I've had the odd bit of hip pain (but only mild) since my c section 3 days ago. However, when the anaesthetist was doing the spinal, she hit a nerve and I got a shooting pain in my left hip. So, I assume it's just a slight hangover from that? Could it be similar for you?

I’m 4 months PP and experiencing sciatica and on/off pain in my right hip and groin!

I am 16 days post c as well and I have been experiencing the exact same thing how strange. Anyway I noticed a lump on my left side where my scar/wound in. It is on the inside if you feel make sure you have no lumps I had an ultrasound and my doctors still unsure what it is. He said it could be a build up of blood and puss so have put me on strong antibiotics and it is slowly going down and the pain is not as frequent.

@Beth argh sorry to hear, have you had any advice from a doctor as to what is causing it? Hope it starts to ease up soon!

@Taya this gives me hope that mine will go away quickly too. It’s so odd but I guess it’s just another lovely side effect of pregnancy/csection x

@Katie ah I didn’t think about nerve pain but that makes complete sense, I’m assuming at 16 days pp my nerves are starting to recover too so if they were damaged in that area then I’m going to start feeling the effects of it x
