@Shyla-Karris she's had her third bottle and normally has 4 a day but that's alongside solids. I don't know if she can have water as well? She normally has it with food but not as a drink like we would coz I've no idea when she can have it like that. I'm giving her a second dose of calpol so hopefully it will bring it back down 😪
I give my little one water throughout the day! Up to 4oz of water a day they can have, but I would offer milk first, I would also try nurofen it’s what I used with my little one and it worked wonders
Also try freezing some yoghurt for her to have
My baby was like that for about 5 days( he had fever, diharrea, throw up, slept so much, a horrible cough) and he loves food and he is always eating and on Tuesday he only had about 10oz all day, all I did was I gave him calpol wait an hour and gave him ibuprofen (as they recommended before) and he slept a full day on top of me (in and out of sleep) without playing or anything , so went doctores and was absolutely useless they did nothing for him just said I could give him antibiotics if I wanted but would make him poorlyer! 😑 Today is Thursday and he is so much better, I think it's just a cold and you have to let them get over it. Just keep try give her milk through the day like 2oz at the time
@Shyla-Karris I'm going to give her some water in a bit and maybe some yogurt. She's had her second lot of calpol and you wouldn't think anything is wrong 🤷♀️
@Vilma she's slept on me today or just cuddled. A little playing here and there too but very chilled
Apparently calpol brings the fever down and ibuprofen keeps it down. But u have to wait at least an hour before give the ibuprofen. That did help me a lot with my boy. Hope she feels better soon 😊
Yeah my little boy was the same on Tuesday he only wanted to be on me for everything
@Vilma I've not got any ibuprofen for her but the calpol does keep it down for a while. She tested 38.2 just after calpol but has dropped to 37.3 now, 20 mins later
This happened to us last month, we did call 111 becagse the fever was about 40 at a point and she wouldn’t stop crying. She had lots of nappies too with mucus in it and wouldn’t feed so much. When she got checked, she had an ear infection, tonsils were inflamed and swollen. she got treated , also got electrolytes for replacing lost fluids as she was constantly going.
@M.H I hope you're LO is okay 🫂 She was back to normal by dinner, she had a little yogurt and some milk plus her temp is below 37.5 but will keep on eye on it!
Continue with milk as long as she’s having milk and lots of wet nappies should be absolutely fine! They need extra sleep when poorly! Keep an eye on the temp xx
