@Katie we don't really do crafts.
Maybe things like fun bubble bath, or bath bombs? I try to think of things my kid will enjoy using and when they are done it’s gone.
New clothes, new shoes, crayons & coloring books, bath toys or bath crayons. Things for outside like a trampoline or kids basketball hoop , bicycles (I know it’s winter in some places rn so maybe this wouldn’t work) . You don’t have to get them the generic toys for Christmas
@Jen i was thinking of stuff like that bit there baths are maybe 5 minutes long and we have a swing set but never go outside to play
It's a good time to freshen up your books! Rain boots and umbrellas for splashing. An art easel. Water art, scratch art or reusable stickers, depending on age. A sensory tray. A play couch. A huggle pod. Giant foam building blocks.
Days out or experience days depending on age?
@Alex everything is at least an hour away and my husband‘s always working
I do a toy rotation. Depending on the age, I’d take away the toys until they learned how to not make a mess
We are big on consumable gift like snacks or craft supplies. Stuff that will get used up and create less clutter.
