Baby baths

Haven’t done yet as he’s only 4 days old today but with my last one we bathed him on day 11 in NICU just before leaving! Will probably wait till about day 8/9 with this one, and then most likely twice a week for first few months x

We did on day 4 as he still had dried blood in his hair 🫠 but we haven’t bathed him since! (He’s 6 days old) From next week I think we will once or twice a week x

Just over a week old, although her cord clamp fell off on day 4. Gave her hair a wash with cotton wool and warm water on day 2 though to get the crusty bits out before family came.

We probably won’t bath our LB until around a month/3weeks old but will do cotton wool wash behind his ears and around his belly button/ armpits from about day 7 or if noticing it needs doing I will do it earlier

Day 3 we did top and tail bath and then day 8 ( yesterday) he had a full bath. I honestly only bathe around once a week unless they need it more often because of sick or blowout.

Mines a week old today haven’t bathed her yet but been topping and tailing. Il probably do it this weekend x

My baby is 8 days old and haven’t bathed him yet. His cord hasn’t dropped off yet but when it does we will probably bath him

We did first bath when she was 2 weeks old and will do once/week for now. With my first think we did 2-3x/week but she would get milk in her neck folds.

Cord fell at day 4 planning first bath today on day 6

We did it at 9 days, 18 days and 26 days , so 3 baths total and he’s 28 days old today (4 weeks) :). Only cos he got poo all over his back and old sick in his neck. Usually just top and tail tho
