I came to the group to write exactly this post and saw yours. My son wakes up around 10-15 times every single day since day 1… bro sure if I should contact the health visitor, if something is wrong with him or what. Hen I try all the gentle sleep routines etc nothing works he dreams too… 😭

We had the same and realised that if we stayed around he got worse and would scream and shout. One day out of desperation we just left the room and… wow he settled and fell asleep within 5 minutes. Since then we just drop and run lol! Occasionally he keeps going and we just lengthen the time to get to him (but only pick up for a while and put down) - we learned that every baby is really different! Wouldn’t have thought running away was our solution 😅

@Wanyu im so glad you found a solution that works 🥰. But what about in the night when he wakes up? My son just seems to get really upset if we ignore him ☹️

@Emy In the night we would try to let him sooth himself first for about 20 minutes, if he continues one of us will just cosleep. But he only wakes up when he is in teething pain really. If yours doesn’t settle maybe cosleeping is the best way so everyone gets some sleep!

Yeh atm I’ve been cosleeping cos he just won’t go in his cot wether he’s drowsy sleeping or asleep as soon as I put him down he either wakes straight away or within like 5/10 mins standing up crying and screaming

Same here. Unfortunately I’ve resulted in putting him in the bed , which is something I really did not want to do xx

Have you tried heating the cot before putting your baby in? I read elsewhere that the temp difference is what bothers babies
